This book purports to be the memoir, or rambling reflections of a WW1 veteran who eventually kills himself as his bookshop slides inexorably to bankruptcy. The book is fictional but does give a fascinating account of the book trade.
CONDITION
A good copy. The dust jacket has had a few archival tape repairs to the inside but is in general good condition for its age. All contents present and pages good throughout.. Overall a good copy.
