Published by Longmans, Green & Co, London, undated, circa 1879. Stamped decorative cloth binding. 8vo, gilt to all page edges, wine clay endpapers. With lined borders to text pages and with numerous b&w illustrations.
CONDITION
The binding is very good with no carcking to the hinges or tearing to the cloth. Endpapers very good and with a beautifully written inscription to the front endpaper and dated 1879. Pages are good and clean throughout. The b&w plates are in good clean condition. Overall an attractive copy in very good condition.
