CONDITION
A very good copy. Coves good with sharp corners. Spine good with light creasing as expected from being opened. All contents present and pages very good throughout. Usual even age-toning to the outer margins of pages as is usual with Bloomsbury's poor choice in paper for their earlier publications (Harry Potter books also suffer the same fate). No previous ownership marks or writing. Overall a very good copy. Reputably there were only around 30-40 copies printed so a rare thing indeed.
Poor Things is a novel that explores themes of Scottish national identity, Victorian gender roles, and scientific progress. It is a postmodernist retelling of Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein," focusing on the character Bella Baxter, who is brought back to life by the unorthodox scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter. The story follows Bella's journey of self-discovery and empowerment as she navigates her new life
