CONDITION
A very good copy with all pages clean, bright and tightly bound. Cloth binding good with just a couple of small grubby marks as can be seen in the images provided. In a very good slipcase. No writing or names to the book. Overall a fine copy.
Highsmith's debut novel telling the tale of two men who meet by chance and toy with the idea of exchanging murders - an idea that quickly spirals into obsession and manipulation. The novel, a brilliant psychological thriller, was famously adapted into a film by Alfred Hitchcock in 1951, with a screenplay by Raymond Chandler and Czenzi Ormonde.
