The "Ex Libris" bookplate to the front pastedown features a centaur carrying a torch, surrounded by zodiac symbols, and belongs to The Book Society. "Ex libris" is a Latin term meaning "from the library of," and bookplates like this were used to indicate ownership of books. The artist's initials "E D" can be seen in the corners below (see images provided)
CONDITION
A fine copy in an attractive very good unclipped dust jacket and with no tears or damage. Boards and spine very good. All contents present and pages clean throughout. No writing or names to the book. Overall a very good copy.
