Front board shows images of the 'Foot of Leith Walk', Sir Walter Scott's Monument, Edinburgh, Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace and in the centre a portrait of Sir Walter Scott. The rear board shows a larger image of The Scott's Monument. The rear board also have 4 mother of pearl feet to stop the board from being scratched when lying flat. Silk endpapers. 216pp. Illustrated with real tipped-in photographs.

CONDITION
A very good copy. The leather spine is good with some light rubbing. Boards very good. Endpapers clean. Little spotting to the border of the frontispiece. Pages good throughout with the odd brown spot to be found to the odd margin. The photographs are in good condition but a few with spots around the outer margins. Overall a good copy.
