John Buchan (1875–1940) was a Scottish novelist (Famous for his 'Thirty-Nine Steps') and historian who served as Governor General of Canada. Many classic books such as this are becoming increasingly rare and expensive. We are republishing this volume now in an affordable, modern, high-quality edition complete with a specially commissioned new biography of the author.
CONDITION
A good first signed edition. The cloth binding is in good condition. Endpapers good with some age-toning. Some spotting to the title page and following few pages but all other pages clean throughout with perhaps the odd faint spot to the odd margin. Overall a good signed first mystery thriller.
