John Buchan (1875–1940) was a Scottish novelist (Famous for his 'Thirty-Nine Steps') and historian who served as Governor General of Canada. Many classic books such as this are becoming increasingly rare and expensive. We are republishing this volume now in an affordable, modern, high-quality edition complete with a specially commissioned new biography of the author.
CONDITION
A good first edition. The original dust jacket is in very good condition but is clipped at the inside front flap but the price of 8/6 Net still remains intact. The jacket is protected with a removable archival sleeve. The cloth binding is in good condition. Endpapers good with some light age-toning. All contents present and pages clean throughout. No writing or names. Overall a very good first edition.
