This book has been presented to a Robert Macmillan by the author's brother. The book is also signed by Ian Hay Beith to the same endpaper as his brother's inscription (see image provided). There are also two printed facsimiles of Ian Hay's signature, one blow the frontis portrait, and one to th flyleaf that sits just before the frontispiece.

CONDITION

A good first US edition and signed by the author as well as the author's brother. Binding good. All contents present and pages good throughout. Overall a good copy.
