Morris Blythman
The singer-songwriter, poet, folklorist and collector Hamish Henderson is rightly seen as "the father of the folk revival” in Scotland, but his often overlooked contemporary Morris Blythman was in many ways the powerhouse behind it.

It would also be safe to say that without Blythman’s determined influence the folk revival would not have spread beyond folk clubs and on to the highways, byways and streets of Scotland to have the cultural and political impact it did.
