For sale we have an unpublished manuscript entitled:
'Everybody's Theatre; A Short Survey of Drama and the Principles of the Theatre Arts, for Playgoers, Producers and Players'. The manuscript is typed and consists of 370 pages. At the front there is a loosely laid-in contents page. The author has made corrections to the text in places . . this is mostly in pencil but a few in ink
Halbert Tatlock was a Scottish writer of distinction, a dramatist, theatre critic, and broadcaster. He also wrote and produced many plays for radio and stage.
He was so well know in Scottish theatre that William Crosbie (1915–1999) undertook to painting a portrait of Halbert Tatlock (d.1963)
This will be of interest to those who have a keen interest in British theatre and the dramatic arts, BBC radio plays, etc
In good condition. The cloth case is a little rubbed. The first page has a crease but all other pages good.
