The narrative follows Peter Fortymore, who is convinced that his brother, Captain Nigel Fortymore, is alive despite being presumed dead after a plane crash during World War I. Determined to find him, Peter runs away from school and "borrows" a plane. He and Dick Ripley manage to escape and eventually get involved with Biggles and his squadron, 266 Squadron, as they navigate the dangers of the war.
CONDITION
A very good copy. The dust jacket is very good, it remains unclipped but has a few small closed tears. The cloth binding is good. Endpapers clean. No names or writing to the book. All contents present and pages very clean throughout and free from foxing, stains etc. Overall a very good copy.
