41 Steel-Engraved Portraits of Scottish Worthies

For sale have a leather-bound volumes containing 41 steel engravings of various Scottish worthies. There is no title page as this appears to be the 'Plates' which would have accompanied a text volume. We can't work out what title the plates belong to so if you have any idean then we'd love to hear from you.

CONDITION
In good condition. The leather binding is good with light rubbing in places. Endpapers good and inner hinges secure with no cracking. All of the 41 plates are in good condition with perhaps some light grubbiness to the margins. Overall in good condition.
