A mixed collection of Border tales, Northumbrian and Scots, including "The Warlock of Glororum," a monstrous carnivorous plant hidden in a secret chamber. Others traditional ghost stories. Heavy dialect pieces after the manner of Scott and Stevenson.

A good first edition. The cloth binding is in good condition with light signs of age. Endpapers very good. No writing or names to the book. All contents present and pages in good clean condition throughout. Overall a very good copy.
