We believe this to be Sidney Dark's elusive first novel.

CONDITION
A very good copy. The dust jacket has no clipping but has a little creasing to the rear panel and afew old repair to the inside of the jacket (see images). Boards and spine very good. All contents present and pages good throughout. Small closed tear to the edge of the half-title page. No writing or names. Overall a very good copy.

Sidney Ernest Dark (14 January 1874 – 11 October 1947) was an English journalist, author and critic who was editor of the Church Times, among other publications. Dark wrote more than 30 books on subjects ranging from the church to literature and theatre, as well as biographies and novels.
