Published by Collins CLear-Type Press, London and Glasgow, undated, circa 1912. Hardback with pictorial cloth binding. Illustrated endpapers, a lovely colour frontispiece and colour title page, 282 pages. Illustrated by J E Sutcliffe (6 colour plates including the frontis and title page.
CONDITION
A good early copy. The cloth binding remains in good condition with just some light signs of age, but hinges good with no cracking. Endpapers good with front endpaper having a scholl prize label pasted to it and dated 1913. All contents present and pages good throughout and free from foxing and stains. Perhaps the odd light thumb mark to the margins of a few pages. All colour plates present and in good condition. Overall a lovely vintage copy of this very popular adventure story.
