Cream buckram covers with gilt titles and decorations; patterned endpapers; 61 thick leaves and 20 tipped-in illustrations mounted on heavy paper and with tissue guards.

CONDITION
A very good clean copy. The cloth binding is good as can be seen in the images provided. All contents present. Front blank endpaper has a square peace of paper pasted to the top corner (perhaps to hide previous ownership (see pictures). All pages very clean throughout and free from foxing, stains etc. All 20 tipped-in plates are in very good condition with no damage. Overall a very good copy.
