Published by Methuen & Co, London, 1908. Second Edition. Printed the same month as the first edition. Hardback, 8vo, decorative stamped cloth binding with gilt decorated spine, 302 pages, illustrated with a B&W frontispiece still with its original tissue guard in place.
CONDITION
A very good copy. The cloth binding is good and the gilt spine remains bright and clear. Front endpaper has a previous owner's name. All contents present and pages in good condition with some having light tide-marks to the bottom corners . . this affects around 40% of the pages (see images provided for examples of this). Overall a good second edition of this classic children's title.
