Published by R.S. Shearer & Son, Stirling, 1905. First Edition. Scarce. HArdback, brown buckram with gilt titling, plain endpapers, pp vi, 86, with 10 map illustrations which includes a large fold-out of John Speed's Map of Scotland 1610, another of Robert Gordon's map 1653, and there is also a large map printed on thick stock paper which is housed in a pocket at the rear inside board (Abraham Ortelius 1570).
CONDITION
A very good clean copy of this scarce work. All contents present including all maps. The buckram binding is very good with no damage. All contents present and pages very clean throughout. Two of the fold-out maps each have a small closed tear to the margin edge. Previous owner's name to front endpaper. Overall a very good copy.
