CONDITION
Very good copy. Original dust jacket is in good condition with a small hole to the spine and a little nibbling from the head and tail of the spine. Cloth binding is very good but with a small dent to the spine (see photo provided). Beautiful gilt text and small Celtic designs on front cover. Four edge rough cut pages. Overall a very good copy. 

Translated and retold by Edith Wingate Rinder, short folk tales and romance stories taken by Brittany. 

Edith Wingate Rinder (1864 - 1962) was a writer closely associated with Patrick Geddes' Celtic Revival circle in Edinburgh, Scotland, in the 1890s. She was the wife of the art critic of the Glasgow Herald, Frank Rinder, and the muse of the writer and critic William Sharp.
