Hardback book with decorative cloth binding and titles in gilt. 8vo, bevel-edged boards, patterned endpapers, 150 pages. Illustrated with a frontispiece.
A fairy tale-like story that centres around Tom and Eta, two children who go on to meet Titania and Oberon (King and Queen of the fairies) . . chapters include, Davy jones, The Midsummer Night Gathering, A Friend of the Fairies, The Fairy Stone, Another Peep at the Fairies, Kilmeny . .etc
A very good copy. The cloth binding is very good. All contents present and pages good throughout. A couple of pages have some light marks left by pressed flowers. Inscription to front endpaper dated 1895. Overall a good copy.
