A tidy and clean first edition of Cunninghame Graham's popular work on this splendid part of Scotland. Describing the beauty of the area, its history, atavism and traditions. Written by R. B. Cunninghame Graham, a Scottish writer, politician and adventurer. A co-founder and the first president of the Scottish Labour Party, he was also a prolific writer, this being his debut work. So fond was the author of Menteith that he was laid to rest there, in the ruined Augustinian Priory on Inchmahome.
CONDITION
A very good first edition. The cloth binding remains in very good clean condition. All contents preent including the map and 12 plates. All pages good throughout. Map good. Overall a very good copy.
