Half leather, red morocco, marble boards, marble endpapers, gilt to top edge, pp xv, 850, [1 eratta], Illustrated with 152 engraved drawings and figures in text by P. Sellier, E. Garnier, Ch .Fichot, etc, including captioned tissue guards for the plates.
CONDITION
The binding is in good condition with some bumping and damage to the leather at the corners but spine remaining bright and in good condition, no cracking to the hinges, little darkening to the leather at the foot of the spine, endpapers good, all contents present including all illustrations, pages in good clean condition throughout. Overall a handsome and well-preserved edition.
