Limited edition - This copy is number 44 of 150 copies printed on Van Gelder`s Dutch hand-made paper, separately numbered and specially bound. Publishers quarter red and mustard coloured buckram boards, with gilt embossed Scottish national design down edges, titling and motif to spine and front. Front cover emblem repeated to lower board, in blindstamp. pp 217 [1]. Illustrated with a frontispiece and a few small woodcut illustrations.
CONDITION
Very good clean copy. The cloth binding is good with just a couple of small marks. Binding tight and square and with all contents present. Endpapers are brown with age. Pages bright and clean throughout and free from foxing, stains etc. No names or writing. Overall a good clean copy.
