Published by David Douglas, Edinburgh, 1893. Second Edition. Complete in Two Volumes. Cloth bindings, gilt armorial device to front boards, 8vo, 23 cm,. xvii, [1], 474 + x, [1], 477 pp, Illustrated with plates and illustrations in text.
The second edition is much enlarged and much improved from the first, for which the author regrets in his introduction having rushed prematurely into print.
CONDITION
A good complete set. The cloth bindings are in good but volume one is cracking through the cloth along the spine but boards still secure and no cracking to the inner joints. Endpapers good and with no names or writing to the books. Hole in the tissue guard that protects the frontis of volume I. All contents present and pages in good clean condition throughout. Overall good.
