Here we have a lovely book dating from the 1890s with 18 wonderful views of the city of Edinburgh. Bound in wooden boards (Mauchline Ware) with cloth spine. The book measures 22.5 x 17cm. The front board has 5 images of Edinburgh, The Scott's Monument, Market Cross, Edinburgh from the Castle, Holyrood Palace and Edinburgh Castle. The rear board is plain. Large fold-out showing 18 wonderful photogravures. At the rear of the book there are 7 pages of text giving an historical sketch of Edinburgh.

CONDITION
A very good copy. The Wodeden boards are in good condition with no chips, cracks and the corners are good and sharp. The cloth spine is good but with some signs of age. Internally very good and all the photogravures are in good clean condition. The 7 pages of text are in good condition. Overall very good.
