Published by Adam & Charles Black, Edinburgh 1887. FIrst Edition. Volumes II and III only . . sadly volume I missing from this set. Half leather, 4to, books measure 31 x 24.5cm. Gilt to top edges. MArble sides and marble endpapers, vol II has xviii, 556 pages and vol III has 79 plates containing 1547 figures of coins, engraved on copper by M Dujardin of Paris.
CONDITION
Good condition. The leather bindings are very good and solid. Endpapers very good. Blank endpapers are foxed. But text pages good throughout volume II and the plates to volume III are good but with some light spotting to a few around the outer margins. Overall these two volumes are in good complete condition.
