Johnny Nut, a simple-minded boy, embarks on a quest to taste roast goose from the village of Hergnies. His journey is filled with humorous and magical encounters, including a talking cat, a giant, and a witch. With their help, Johnny overcomes obstacles and ultimately finds the golden goose. The story is filled with whimsical illustrations and is a classic example of French fairy tales from the late 19th century.

CONDITION
A very good copy. Cloth binding in very mint condition. No major damages. Endpapers good. All contents present and pages in good condition with occasional light spotting. Overall a very good copy.
