Published by George Routledge and Sons, London, 1875. FIrst Edition. Original blue gilt cloth pictorial boards. Measuring 9.5 inches by 7.5 inches. With wonderful and vibriant illustrations by Walter Crane, printed in colour by Edmund Evans.
CONDITION
The book is in very attractive condition with a hint of wear and bumping to the corner tips and spine ends (see pictures). Original plain end papers are very good. Light browning to prelims. The plates are printed to one side of the page and are in nice, bright condition. Binding sound and square. An unusually nice example of the first printing of the first edition containing Blue Beard, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and The Bean-Stalk and Baby's Own A B C.
