For sale we have two books by John Yeats - the titles are:
The Technical History of Commerce, or Skilled Labour Applied to Production (First Edition, 1871)
and
The Natural History of the Raw Materials of Commerce, with a Copious List of Commercial Terms (Second Edition, 1871)
Both books are published by Cassell, Petter, and Galpin, London. Both published 1871 with 'The Technical History' being a first edition and 'The Natural History' being a second edition. Both volumes are scarce, especially The Technical History of Commerce. Hardback, brown cloth, 8vo, both volumes with a colour frontispiece. pp xviii, 440, [16] ; xvi, 440, [16]
Both volumes are in good clean condition throughout. Boards and spines are good and clean. Both have previous owner's name written faintly to the top of the title pages. Both frontispieces are good. Pages clean throughout and free from foxing, stains etc. Overall both books in good clean condition.
