Original green bevelled cloth decorated and lettered in gilt on the upper cover. ll edges in gilt.  Illuminated title-page plus 12 plates highly colour printed and heightened in gold on one side only. With beautiful illuminated borders, created with colour lithography intended to reproduce the effects of manuscript illumination.

CONDITION
A very good copy. The cloth binding is in very good clean condition and the gilt title and decoration remains bright and clear. Endpapers very good. Front and rear free endpapers with some even spotting. All contents present and pages good throughout. Overall a lovely and well-preserved copy.
