Published by Edmonston and Douglas, Edinburgh, 1864. Full leather binding with gilt decoration to the spine, 8vo, gilt to all page edges, marble endpapers, pp xiii, iii, 417, with 3 tinted lithographic plates (including frontispiece) 4 maps plus one folding map, all as called for.

CONDITION
A very good clean copy throughout. The binding is in good condition with very light rubbing at the tips of the spine. Hinges secure with no cracking, inner hinges also good with no cracking, All contents present and the pages are in very clean condition throughout and free from foxing, stains, etc. All plates and maps present and in very good condition with no damage. Presentation slip pasted to the inside front board. Overall a very good copy.
