Théâtre des puonnettes du Jardin des Tuileries is a collection of twenty-four pieces written by Louis Edmond Duranty, published in 1862.
It is a collection with hero Polichinelle, Pierrot and Arlequin, although these are sometimes absent from certain pieces.
After a short opinion to the reader where the author explains the difficulty of writing a written puppet theatre, the comedy being mainly visual. It expresses the power of this art that attracts attention with its oddities (decorated with the shrimp giant things and the tiny objects grown exaggeratedly). This is followed by the texts of the pieces below, all beginning with an explanatory and sometimes philosophical foreword, as well as the list of characters.
