The first edition of Charles James Apperley's account of hunting and sports in the North of England, and Scotland. The work of Welsh sportsman and sporting writer Charles James Apperley, who published his works under the name 'Nimrod'.

Nimrod describes the principle hunting locations in the areas he explores, analyses 'distinguished sporting characters', and provides anecdotes of amateur dragsmen, crack riders, and masters of hounds.

CONDITION
A very good first edition. The leather binding is very good, hinges both inside and out are very good with no cracking. All contents present and pages clean throughout. Just some very light spotting to the title page and following 3 pages. Overall a good first edition.
