An elegantly printed version of Bunyan's celebrated allegorical tale of Christian the pilgrim on his journey to the Celestial City. Along the way, Christian encounters both worthy companions and dreadful adversaries. One of an edition of 1600 copies printed at the Kynoch Press on Arches cream wove paper. Illustrated with 8 full-page woodcuts by Karl Michel stenciled in colour at the Curwen Press.
CONDITION
A very good limited edition. The marble cloth binding is in good condition with no tears or damage. Contents complete and all pages in very good condition. All 8 woodcuts are present and in good clean condition. Bookplate to inside front board. Overall a very good copy.
