A very good first edition. The cloth binding is good with no damage. Endpapers good with browning, All contents present including the illustrations. Pages good throughout.No names or writing. Overall very good.

ABOUT CHAMBERLAIN
Jacob Chamberlain was a Medical Missionary from Connecticut who served in India amongst the Teluga people. He effectively used his medical and surgical work to open the way for Christian teaching. Considered one of the most enterprising of modern missionaries, he is credited in large measure for the marked success and rapid growth of the Christian church in India. His amazing experiences became the primary material for tracts and books.
