CONDITION
A very good, bright copy of the first edition. The cloth binding is very good with sharp corners and the gilt decoration remaining bright. Endpapers very good and inner joints sound and with no craking. No writing or names to the book. All contents present and pages very clean and fresh throughout. Overall a fine copy. Although copies are not too difficult to find, they are in this condition. A ture collector's item.
Andrew Lang (31 March 1844 – 20 July 1912) was a Scottish folklorist, poet, novelist, literary critic, and contributor to the field of anthropology. He is best known as a collector of folk and fairy tales. His 12 Fairy Books are among the most sought-after children's book of all time.
