With 14 engraved plates including the frontispiece plus a fold-out map. The engravings are mostly by R. Scott after drawings by J. Stevenson.

CONDITION
A good complete set. The leather bindings are good. Endpapers good. All contents present including all the engraved plates. Title pages have age toning and offsetting. Text clean throughout and free from foxing and stains. All plates present and in good condition with some age-toning to the outer margins. Overall a good set.
